Moms sometime need a little inspiration. People without kids need inspiration too! Mogul Mama Mondays will showcase Moms (and dads too) who are doing the damn thang, juggling parenthood, success, and managing to keep thier sanity. Any suggestions are welcome!

First Mama Mogul is the Fabulous Kimora Lee Simmons


Kimora is the boss of all bosses. She is a model, author, fashion icon, tv personality, former president and creative director of Phat Farm and Baby Phat, actress, entrepreneur, and mom to three.

Kimora has a long list of accomplishments, she started her family in 2000, Kimora Lee and Russell had their first child, a daughter named Ming Lee Simmons. Two years later they had a second daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons. Both girls model for the Baby Phat Kids Collection. Kimora Lee and Russell divorced in 2008. The couple claims they had actually split some time before that, but continued to work together. The divorce was finalized in January of 2009. Simmons then began dating model and actor Djimon Hounsou. The couple has one child, named Kenzou Lee Hounsou

The thing I love about Kimora is that she is not afraid to let you know that her kids come first. Yes, she is a busy, powerful and rich woman, but it is undeniable that she will let all of that go for her family. in season one of "Life in the Fab Lane" Kimora said "Cars come and go, money comes and goes...Husbands come and go, but at the end of the day its just me and my girls, and thats all I need." Another thing I love about Kimora, and her ex-husband Russell is the way they handled their split. Russell said that..."My daughters will never, ever hear me say something bad about their mother." Wow. If more families where things didnt work out could take a note from these two, the world would be a better place.
