Say what you want about the Kardashians...they have three things that I really admire:
1. A true value of family.
2. a great sense of style
3. Friggin' BOSS Christmas Cards...
I always see them in the most random places on the web and I love each and every one of them. The most recent one was my current obsession...Silhouettes!
LOVE this..can you figure out who everyone is?
How adorable is Mason with his little hand in his pocket? So cute!
Here are some previous cards from them...
love!

Sunglass Solution
For those of us who wear sunglasses year round and just see them pile up as we continue to purchase new ones, I have a solution for us all.
I was randomly surfing through blogs and Emily the blogger of Cupcakes and Cashmere had an amazing, easy, and creative idea to stylishly store your sunnies.
In her own words:
"I have quite a few sunglasses, but I can never keep track of them since they’re always strewn about in random spots throughout my place. Yesterday I created a more streamlined solution, while still adhering to the minimalist vibe of my bedroom. I used an extra frame from a recent project (that’s painted the same color as my wall) and used it to corral all of my eyewear. It took only a few minutes to complete, and the entire project cost $15 (vintage frame $7, paint $4, hooks $1.50, wire $2.50). Here’s how I did it:......."
{Figure out the general layout – I liked four frames per wire}
{Tools: steel wire, screw eyes, tape measure, ice pick, scissors, pencil}
{Measure where to make the first hole and mark with the pencil}
{Use the ice pick to create a small hole}
{Twist the screw eye into the hole until it’s in place}
{Secure the wire by twisting around the screw eye}
{Pull the wire so that it’s very taut and secure on the other end}
{Hang sunglasses and display}
Creative, Stylish and Easy!

Scarf Season
I wish I had these editing skills...
But the diferent ways she did the scarf is amazing!
December Already!?!
Its so funny how much Decemeber is on steroids with the holidays.
It hits me like a rock everytime, it;s like people cannot wait for the first day in December so they can throw up their tree and string lights on thier house. Now don't get me wrong, I love the cheer and excitement of the Holidays, but sometimes it can be a bit much.
Is anyone else feeling the pressure of the Holidays ALREADY?

Accusations
Accusations really annoy me.
Especially when they are stereotypical. One of the most annoying stereotypes I have been running into headfirst is that since I am a young, black mom...I must have a "baby daddy"...
I dont know why of all stereotypes, this one annoys me the most...maybie not the most but pretty dam bad. Yes I look young, but I'm not a teenager. Yes I have a baby, and she has a father, who is also my husband. Why do people try to deduce fathers of african american children to the status of a babby daddy? This, to me, sounds like a trifling individual who does not take an active role in their child's life and offer support (forced or not).
I say we abolish this phrase.

Girl Crush
C'mon you know you have em too...
This time I'm crushing on ms Vashtie Kola.
Now people have many different opinions about ms. Kola. She's a groupie, she's a bird, she uses her celebrity "connections" for profit...whatever you say about her, you have to say she is stunning. And yes, she has been linked to Pharrell, Q-Tip, Maxwell, etc, etc, but she is creating her own name by being the first female designer of a Jordan Shoe
The shoe is ho hum...not really my style of gymshoe...but Vashtie is still dope.
She's an artist, director, party promotor, and has her own clothing line. I wish I was daring enough to wear some of her looks...very eclectic.
